Mindfulness is the human ability to be fully present, aware of where you are and what you are doing and not overly react or be overwhelmed by what is going on around you.
Mindfulness exercises are ways of paying attention to the present moment using techniques such as meditation and breathing.
During my 7 days of mindfulness, I will guide you through 10-minute sessions each morning. The sessions will teach you to become more aware of your thoughts and feelings so that instead of becoming overwhelmed by them, you are better able to manage them.
There is growing research showing that when you train your brain to be mindful, you are actually remodelling the physical structure of your brain.
