Purple Freesia have always supported local and good causes and it goes without saying that the TogetherForFreddie campaign is a story that melted the hearts of thousands
With a need for proton beam therapy for a little boy that was suffering around 60 seizures a day we wanted to do what we could to help this little toddler on his way to America to get back on the road to recovery.
So we sat down and with a little thinking and a few conversations later we opted to buy all of the football kits for the local Cricketers pub for when they play Yateley United with all proceeds from the match going to the TogetherForFreddie fund.
Freddie Hunt All Stars vs Old Man Cheat on the 27th November at the Tythings, Reading Road, Yateley, GU46 7RP. With everyone welcome to come and watch (the more the merrier). If you can’t make the match why not pledge a small donation here?
As a local company we witnessed a great local community spirit which saw the local radio station Eagle do a full day of support for the fund where they managed to break through the target of £100,000 for the treatment that was needed in just a few weeks. There is still a long way to go though.
We are very proud to be participants in helping little Freddie get the help he needs and wish his family the best of luck. We also look forward to the summary of the story in a few months when Freddie’s treatment is completed.
